Jon Arntz, CFP®
Jonathan D. Arntz, CFP® joined forces with The Professional Advisor Group, LLC, in 2001, bringing additional focus on planning for physicians. His experience in the financial advisory profession dates back to 1991 under the tutelage of his father, Douglas H. Arntz. Doug began his financial career in 1955, shifting emphasis to the medical field in 1968. Since then, Doug’s work with hospitals and physicians has grown dramatically. Jon assumed day-to-day operations in 1995 and also manages physician’s wealth, is a frequent speaker to medical staff on financial planning issues, and consults with hospitals and medical practices on employee and executive benefits.
Jon has been a member of the Financial Planning Association since 1994. He received his CFP® designation in 1996 after completing Oakland University’s two year study program.
His former career as a metallurgical engineer began in 1985 after graduating from Michigan Tech. Jon was responsible for product failure analysis and for the research and testing of new and existing materials. These skills have proven invaluable in the ever changing world of financial services. His contributions as an engineer continue to save those firms millions of dollars annually.
Jon and his wife Cindy have nine children which they teach at home, and live in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. Additionally, they own and rent residential properties.
